Job Description:
This role requires a self-starter with strong business acumen, a keen attention to detail and good track record of influencing business partners. This role has regular interaction with the central finance team in Seattle and San Francisco, the international music business teams and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with Accounting on a common format for month end close reporting and reviews
- Work closely with shared services team in India on centralized financial processes
- Set up standardized spend and headcount reporting across international teams, and co-ordinate reviews as necessary
- Partner with the Marketing team in Europe on driving customer acquisition and retention
- Deliver high quality, standardized KPIs for Amazon Music customers across international territories
- Work with the business teams on setting and tracking international goals
- Create space for the international finance team by creating common resources for our business partners
- Coordinate the planning timetable with the central FP&A team, and ensure quality docs across the international team
Job Requirements:
- Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills
- 5+ years finance experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
- Solid business judgment capable of driving an organization to the right results with a focused, pragmatic, approach to the business
- MBA or other post graduate financial certification (ACA/ACCA/CPA) a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Customer focus and professional demeanor
- Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and have the ability to influence the decisions of senior business leaders through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives
